Recently, Payoneer had sent a couple of emails saying they need some more information from their users to comply with Irish laws and card issuance regulations.
One of the information needed is proof of address.
According to them, If you do not verify your address, they will be “forced to close your card by the end of this year if the information is not provided by November 19th to give them enough time to review it.” This is very serious!

Documents needed for Payoneer Address Verification
A document that clearly shows your full name and address that was issued in the past 3 months (or past 12 months for a government-issued ID). This document could be any of the following;
1. A copy of a recent bank statement: Simply go to your bank and request a bank statement. There, your address is clearly written on the top of the document.
2. A copy of a recent utility bill: (within the past 3 months) that has your name and this address (examples of utility bills they accept are gas, water, electric, phone, cable bill, etc.). In Nigeria, you can use electricity bill
*If you are living in a rental apartment and do not have any utility bills under your name, you can use a copy of your rental agreement and a copy of a utility bill under the owner’s name.
Document preparation:
Payoneer address format for verification should be well conspicuous. As state in payoneer documentation, acceptable documents should clearly show your full name and address. The document must be a clear, high-resolution color copy of the complete (uncropped) original document, with no information obscured by the camera’s flash. So, I recommend you scan the document and save it to your device.
How to Upload Documents for Payoneer Address Verification
Once you have the documents ready, simply do the following;
Step 1: Visit the Payoneer Verification Center here
Step 2: Click on “Verify Cardholder Identity”
Step 3: Click on “Address verification”
Step 4: Click on the “+” button, select the document on your device, and click the “SUBMIT” button.
